4 hours today to get this figure to walk towards the camera!! Overall I gotta say though, I’m pretty happy with the way he moves - I had a go with cameras putting him out of focus but I liked more that you could see all of his little movements when he was in focus, so I just scrapped it. I wish I had the time to sit & break up all of my drawings in my animation...

I suppose there was a silver lining to this post being deleted, this is the improved version. Sorted out the jerky feeling within the first few seconds and the whole thing flows much better with a good sense of perspective.

Today I got a glimpse of the mountain that needs climbing to get to the end of this year and by gosh, it looks pretty mighty. We got a new brief to basically make a few contacts by asking them questions/ possibly sending them something that will make them notice us, rather than just fobbing us off. I think I’m both equally scared & excited by this brief, I’ve got a few ideas...

Hate it with a passion. I had the day all planned out; to go to the seminar, finalise these ideas & get some tips off Hannah how to complete my type posters. Now the plan is to try sleep this off in between sketchbook work & hopefully be well for tomorrow to make it in (and for pancakes, obviously more importantly.)
